Indoor stove
For optimum cosiness and atmosphere in a wood-fired outdoor pool, Isbjørn has opted for an aluminum TURBO indoor heater. An internal heater or heater is located entirely in the bath and rises just above the edge of the hot tub. The water can therefore never get in.

Internal heater operation
An internal stove or indoor stove is located in the hot tub. For your safety, the heater is always placed behind a protective panel so that you cannot hit the heater while bathing. The internal stove has the filling opening at the top. This always rises a few centimeters above the water surface so that water can never flow into it. With an internal indoor stove, it is then the intention that you start burning on the bottom of the stove, generating a lot of flames. At the same time, a lot of water flows through the large pipes that run through the aluminum heater, so that the water is heated quickly. Our internal heaters are standard made of aluminum because aluminum heats the water much faster than stainless steel. Stainless steel has a much higher speed point than aluminum. The downside of this is, of course, that the aluminum stove is more vulnerable than stainless steel, but if you manage it with due care, this risk is negligible.
Hot Tub with Turbo inside heater
The difference compared to an outdoor heater (external heater) is that the internal heater provides a little more atmosphere and coziness while bathing. You can hear the crackling and crackling of burning wood, you can refill the stove while bathing and don't have to get out to refill the stove. A possible disadvantage of the internal stove can be mentioned that the cleaning and emptying of the stove takes a little more time compared to an external variant.
A feature of the internal TURBO stove with 3 large cylinders is that you have a good view of the fire while burning, standing at the Hot Tub you can easily look into the stove and have better control over the process. The filling mouth of the stove is large so that you can store large blocks of wood in it, and easily remove ashes afterwards.

Advantages aluminum Turbo indoor heater
The advantage of the aluminum stove is that aluminum gives off the heat much faster than, for example, stainless steel. You can heat up the Isbjørn to a temperature of about 38 degrees within 1.5-2 hours. Other advantages of the installed TURBO heater are:

Smoke exhaust
Our models are standard equipped with a 15 cm diameter single-walled chimney. On request, however, a 15/21 cm double wall flue can be supplied (see pictures). A double-walled duct may be necessary when you want to realize a smoke exhaust duct through the roof. In that case, a double-walled flue is necessary to prevent fire.
Even if you place the Hot Tub under a shelter, we can supply you with the following:
